At Nova Mirage Condominium located in Soi 16, Nakula Wongamat, Pattaya, The juristic manager Daranee Sansree, along with the committee decided to cut off esssential services to an Irish condo owner at the complex.

This is a very serious situation because water is an essential service and nobody has any authority to cut water supply off to any humen being. Thai law states below:

Jurisdiction-Specific Laws: Thailand (Condominium Act B.E. 2522, as amended): In Thailand, a juristic person (condo management) can impose sanctions for non-payment of common fees, such as restricting access to certain facilities (e.g., pool or parking) or pursuing legal action to recover debts. However, cutting off water supply is not explicitly authorized under the Condominium Act and could be deemed illegal or an abuse of power unless explicitly allowed by local regulations or a court order.

Please keep in mind that the electricity was also cut off at the same time as the water. My lawyer, at a top law firm in Bangkok, is trying to find out whose name is on the electricity account and the exact reason why it was cut off. We cannot get that information in writing because it will identify and expose the real property owner. This is far from being over.

The Irishman refuses to pay the annual fees because he discovered major fraud was carried out many years ago when he first bought the condos. He has been quietly gathering evidence and has now given it to the Irish authorities. He has also reported it to the Thai authorities and has requested a criminal investigation into the major fraud and corruption.

Due to the seriousness of the fraud uncovered, he has strongy advised the Thai Authorities to contact the Irish Authorities before they commence the criminal investigation. The scale of fraud is very serious.
